Bubbles are beautiful and make people happy, the small and the big people. We forget about time, dive into the wafting universe of a giant soap bubble tube and are reminded of how simple life can be. Soap bubble artist Queen Bubbles (formerly Miss Bubbles) has been fascinated by soap bubbles as a visual art, performing on festivals and in street shows in many different cities and countries including Brazil, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, South Korea, Poland, Portugal, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Serbia, Spain, Switzerland, Canada, US, Berlin and London.
Before Queen Bubbles knew giant soap bubbles even existed, she had had a dream at night. In her dream, she made big soap bubbles. She could touch their membrane without breaking them, turn them around, make their membrane more dense and form toys out of them.
This was one of the most beautiful dreams Queen Bubbles has ever had. A couple weeks later a friend wrote her, that he is coming to visit and has just discovered giant soap bubbles. Happy conglomeration of events, happy Queen Bubbles. Once she has seen the first big bubble in real life, she immediately fell in love with bubbles and her passion for soap bubble art was born – thanks to her friend.
Ever since then Queen Bubbles has experimented with different ingredients and developed her own bubble solution, being inspired by the aim to create a soap bubble as huge as possible. By now, the giant soap bubble tubes gain a length bigger than 10 meters, with the biggest bubble being over 25 meters long. The largest free-floating bubble had a diameter of approximately 5 meters, the largest open bubble a diameter of over 6 meters. And surely they can get even bigger.
Today Queen Bubbles still builds new bubble equipment and explores new ideas to enhance the soap bubble artistry both outdoor and indoor. The bubble show being enriched by techniques with smoke and fire.
“Every time I start a soap bubble street performance, it feels like the very first time I’ve seen asoap bubble“.
